It's that time of year again.....

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays!  Enjoy time with family and friends!  Hopefully we get some snow, so that we can use those shovels, toboggans and winter hats!  See everyone in the new year!  Students return Monday, January 7th, 2013.

Six Nations Schools are closed January 21-25 for Midwinter Ceremonies.  Students return Monday, January 28, 2013.

It's Cold Outside!!!

We have welcomed in the chilly air and students need to dress appropriately for the weather.  Yes, you need a coat, hat and gloves to keep warm!  It's only 20 minutes, but you will definitely feel the cold!

Progress Reports are coming home on Thursday, November 15.  Please review your child's report and return the signed portion the homeroom teacher. 

Friday, November 16 is a PD Day.  Only teaching staff need to come to school that day - students have the day off!

Playground Safety

Welcome to another great year at JCHill!!!  With the start of our school year, we want to ensure that all students play safely during recess.  Teachers have reviewed playground rules with all students, along with use of the playground equipment & swings.  We have also reminded students of our Safe School Policy regarding hands-off.  Students are aware that playground equipment can not be used unless a supervisor is in the area.  Nya:weh for discussing safe play with your child.
